How to claim from Air Europa

Claim from Air Europa in writing first, through the claims form on its website, with your booking reference and boarding pass. Ask explicitly for compensation under EU261 (or UK261) as well as any refund or expenses.

Air Europa is a Spanish airline, so if it ignores you for a month or rejects the claim you can escalate to AESA, Spain's aviation authority, for free.

    How much you can claim

A fixed amount per passenger based on flight distance, not ticket price. Flights from Spain and the rest of the EU follow EU261 (euros); flights from the UK follow UK261 (pounds). Sources: Your Europe, European Commission and UK Civil Aviation Authority.
